Indian Exhibit

A program and reception is set for tomorrow in St. Joseph for the addition to an already extensive native American exhibit.

The St. Joseph Museum Collection recently acquired American Indian artifacts from the estate of Elizabeth Campbell Smith. The museum already has an American Indian Gallery featuring items from 10 cultural regions. But museum spokeswoman Kathy Reno says this allows even more focus on the southwest United States.

The opening reception is set for this Friday from 5 to 7 with a program at 5:30 at the St. Joseph Museum, that's at 3406 Frederick Avenue. You can hear more about the exhibit during our "Now Showing" segment tomorrow at noon here on KXCV.
