Holiday Parade Results

The results are in for Chillicothe's 65th Annual Holiday Parade.

The event saw more than 90 entries on Saturday, with entries being judged on the use of theme, originality, and appearance. In the youth float division Chillicothe Middle School's anti-bullying group and custom doors took first place with Grace Baptist Church team SOS taking second and club scout pack 120 third. For the business/organization float division misses Missouri and Missouri princesses won first place, followed by former Missouri princess and princess of America and the Chillicothe Area Arts Council placing third. For the non-profit float division Chillicothe United Methodist Church won, followed by Bishop Hogan Memorial School and Hope Haven Industries. Trophies awarded to the bands in this year's holiday parade were first place going to Hamilton, second to green city, and third to Linn county. This year's Grand Marshal Trophy winner was misses Missouri and Missouri princesses.
