Nov. 2, 2011TARKIO, MO | By: Wayman
Tarkio congressman Sam Graves is calling for a hearing on capitol hill on Missouri River management decisions from this summer.
Graves is joining several colleagues from both sides of the political aisle calling on the house's transportation and infrastructure committee to have oversight hearings with the Army Corps of Engineers, the group responsible for releasing extra water along the Missouri causing widespread flooding here in the Midwest. Other representatives pushing for the hearings are from Iowa, North and South Dakota, and Nebraska.
