Detectors

There is a solution for those not able to change fire detectors in their home.

The American Red Cross and local fire departments encourages everyone to change the batteries in smoke detectors once a year, this Saturday is the end of daylight savings time. Saturday the two will team up to help those who cannot change the batteries themselves or install alarms in houses of those who do not have any. Executive director of the Midland Empire chapter of the Red Cross Kevin Kirby says it is part of the Red Cross mission to help others.
