A water system in Daviess county is getting half a million dollars in state grant money for upgrades.
Daviess County Public Water Supply Distrcit number 2 is being connected to the new Livingston County Public Water SUpply District 4 system. About 20,000 feet of water line is being constructed for the merging of the two which will help customers who are now getting their water from the Breckenridge water treatment plant. The half million dollars to help construction is coming in the form of a community development block grant from the Missouri Department of Economic development.
