The city of Maryville has now posted qualifications as the first step in finding the next city manager.
Current manager Matt LeCerf is stepping down to take a similar position in Colorado at the end of the year. The city is advertising with an industry trade group, as well as in regional newspapers. The council is looking for someone with a bachelor's degree in public administration, business administration, or closely related field with a master's degree desirable. They are also looking for at least 5 years of city management experience or closely related governmental experience. Applications are due by December 5th.
