Chillicothe School Finances

The Chillicothe School District is in much better financial shape now than this time last year.

That's what superintendent Dr. Roger Barnes told the R-2 School Board during this week's meeting. Barnes says the tax anticipation notice that went out last year will not be happening now, and he expects sales taxes over the holidays to also help. He says the unknown remains funding from the state.
