Warnock Lake in Atchison county Kansas returned to a public health warning this week.

This occurred after weekly testing result, which found the lake doesn't meet the less than 100,000 cells per milliliter. Due to the toxic blue-green algae. Until the warning is downgraded to an advisory, officials advise locals to avoid direct contact with the water. This also includes not washing fish in the Warnock Lake's water.
