Water system upgrades are pushing Maryville's city-wide boil advisory into its second day.

That can be difficult for residents but it's even rougher for restaurants. Simply Siam Restaurant owner Nok says she's buying clean drinking water to serve customers then boiling water and having to cool it before cooking her dishes.

Another restaurant owner we talked with says sales of water-based sodas have been down. The city continues testing water samples and plans on lifting the boil order just as soon as those tests come out clean.
