MO Farm Bureau President Addresses Corp

Northwest Missouri Farmer and Missouri Farm Bureau president Blake Hurst continues his effort to call for improvements and maintenance of Missouri River as a top priority.

Hurst says the Corps need to do everything they can to minimize flooding next Spring. Weather forecasters are calling for above average precipitation this winter so he says the time to act is now. Hurst tells us they also need all the help they can get with making improvements on the river as the top priority.

Hurst adds a lack of funding is not an excuse and the Farm Bureau is ready to work with the Corps with flood control efforts.
