Missing Trooper

Missouri Highway Patrol officers have resumed the search for one of their own.

The search has moved to a 4 acre hole in Holt county were searchers have begun draining 900,000 gallons of water an hour from the crater left by flood waters. Sergeant Collin Stosberg says they hope to find Guthrie by the end of this weekend.

Trooper Frederick Guthrie and his K-9 reed went missing in Holt county on August 1st. Searcher's recovered Reed's body from flood water's the next day but the search continues for Guthrie. Stay tuned to KXCV and KRNW for the latest on this story.
