Grant City Wins

Grant city leaders are celebrating their first place win in the Missouri Community Betterment Competition.

Based on population, state judges give awards based on community projects and improvements. Grant City took the top spot in it's population category for the downtown streetscape re-design, new bath house at the swimming pool, and youth involvement with beautifying the hike/bike trail. Grant City mayor Debbie Roach says there are several benefits to winning the Community Betterment Award.
