Emergency Watershed Protection Program

Landowners that were recently affected by the Missouri River flooding are being offered assistance from the USDA's Natural Resources Conservation Service.

Federal funds from the EWP assistance could cover up to 75% of the construction costs for most restorations. To be eligible for EWP assistance, measures must be economically, socially and environmentally defensible and technically sound. It is encouraged those affected by the summer flood contact or meet with their local NRCS representatives and apply for EWP.
