Series Back Pack Buddies

Hundreds of bags of food are going home with kids across our region this Friday.

It's the weekly "Back Pack Buddies" program a way the region's community food pantry and area schools are teaming up to help fight hunger among children. Heather Emmendorfer is the family involvement coordinator at Lindergh Elementary in St. Joseph. She says sending home food is very needed in our communities.
