Record School Gift

The largest gift in school history is being announced at North Central Missouri College in Trenton.

John and Delores Kuttler are giving their 312 acre farm in Buchanan county to North Central. She is an alum, a retired school educator and has taught art classes at North Central. He is former board member of the Trenton School District at the time the college was separating from the district and is also a successful farmer. The community college will rent the Kuttler Farm and share the income for the next 10 years. After that North Central will either continue renting or be able to sell the farm, now appraised at 1.4 million dollars. Director of the North Central Missouri College Foundation Steve Maxey says this is a record breaker for the 86 year old school.
