The Maryville City Council approved a contract for a sewer main lining project at last night's meeting.

City manager Matt LeCerf describes the project as a long term investment in the city's sewer infrastructure.

The contract was awarded to SAK construction and weather permitting will be complete in February. LeCerf says the project shouldn't affect Maryville traffic as most of the work will be taking place underground.
