Oct. 14, 2011LIVINGSTON COUNTY, MO | By: Farwell
This weekend a Missouri Conservation Area is inviting the community to come out and view the fall colors.
Poosey Conservation Area is a 5,900 acre preserve located in northern Livingston county. This fall Poosey is proud to celebrate its 25th annual driving tour. Guests are encouraged to come view the beautiful reds and golds as the native prairie grasses and trees change during the autumn season. The roads will be graded but it's recommended that you bring a high clearance vehicle and plenty of time to enjoy the tour. Visitors are welcome to visit this Sunday from noon until 4 in the evening. Poosey Conservation Area is located off of Route U or A, 13 miles northwest of Chillicothe.
