Regional higher education schools are reporting great enrollment numbers again this fall.

Missouri Western in St. Joseph says for the 7th year in a row, the number of students there has set a record. Officials there saw an increase of more than 2.5% with a total enrollment of 6,296. Undergrads at Missouri Western number 6,135 which includes a 35% increase in dual-credit students, or high school students taking college classes. In Trenton North Central Missouri College administrators say they are pleased the school is maintaining its enrollment level this fall. There are currently 1,806 students enrolled at North Central with 55% at a full time status. 22% of students at community college are age 25 or over.
