A Chillicothe factory employing more than a hundred people is closing.
The Associated Press says the Hanes Brands Plant in Chillicothe will close in December and move the work to a plant in Mexico. THe factory employs 125 people and opened in 2001 as a gear for sports athletic clothing plant. It was then bought out by the Hanes Brands company last year for 225 million dollars. The parent company says after moving the jobs in December, it plans to sell the Chillicothe plant.
