Oct. 10, 2011MARYVILLE, MO | By: Wayman
More than 90 employers looking for workers are expected to be at a career fair tomorrow in Maryville.
It's the annual fall Career Day held at Northwest Missouri State University. Organizers say 30 more companies than last year have signed up to be there. Examples include Cerner Corporation, Garmin International, Cargill Pork, the Clarinda Academy, and employers from a wide spectrum of industries. The Career Day runs from 10:30 to 3. At the same time the Northwest Graduate Information Fair will be open to community members and students considering the number of graduate programs being offered at the university in Maryville. That runs from 11 to 1. Both events are at Bearcat Arena.
