Business Class

Business owners will get a chance to take financial matters into their own hands.

Buchanan County Extension Agency will be offering "Understanding Financial Statements", a three hour class for small business owners who want to boost their company's finances. Tom Kelso is the business development specialist for the University of Missouri Extension in northwest Missouri and will be teaching the class.

The class will teach business owners how to make money work for them, the right amount of money to put in inventory, the difference between cash and accrual, and running ratios that banks run to decide whether go give your business a loan or not. The class is from 9 to 12 Thursday at the Buchanan County Extension Office. To register for the class you can call 660-446-3724.
