The Olive Deluce Fine Arts Gallery will be showcasing the works of Mary-Dorsey Wanless this coming Monday.
Wanless has taught as an assistant professor in photography at the Washburn University Art Department since 1998 and specializes in historical alternative image processing specifically tintypes and gum bichromates. Her work has been shown regionally, nationally, and internationally and she has won several awards including the grand prize for SoHo Gallery's "Crappy Camera" international exhibition. Wanless will mark the exhibit's opening with a lecture at 7 p.m. in room 244 of the Olive Deluce Fine Arts Building with a reception afterward in the Fine Arts Gallery on Monday, October 10.
