A recent improvement in knee replacement technology, known as the "E-Plus" is now offered by Dr. Tom Distefano, orthopedic surgeon at St. Francis Orthopedic and Sports Medicine.
This new device is an innovative polythene blended with vitamin E, a natural anti-oxidant. It was created for the 3-D knee, a knee replacement designed to improve strength, stability, and flexibility in recipients. Distefano says the new form of knee replacement should last up to 57% longer.
