Sept. 14, 2011MARYVILLE, MO | By: Wayman
The hospital in Maryville receives recognition from a national organization.
St. Francis is named one of the nation's top performers on key quality measures by the joint commission, that's the leading accreditor of health care organizations in America. To be recognized as a top performer the Maryville hospital had to reach a 95% threshold on aggregate scores by the joint commission, and had to meet or exceed a 95% performance target for every accountability measure reported to the commission. St. Francis reached these for pneumonia and surgical care. The hospital will be featured in the joint commission's annual report as well as its website. It's also a Missouri Quality Award recipient.
