Shooting Sentence

A St. Joseph man is sentenced for shooting and killing his best friend during a robbery attempt.

19 year old Victor Davis was sentenced 25 years for armed criminal action and 5 years in prison for in for involuntary manslaughter. He was charged with the crimes in the death of Aitmus Rimmer the 3rd in April of this year. Investigators say the two, along with Davis's father, were trying to rob a group inside a house of drugs when gunfire erupted, and Davis ended up shooting Rimmer who later died at the hospital.
