Lifenet Memorial

A public memorial is being held this morning in St. Joseph for the victims of the life net helicopter crash a week ago today.

The craft had left the hospital in Bethany and went down in a field near Excelsior Springs, killing the pilot, James Freudenberg of South Dakota, the medical staff Randy Bever and Chris Frakes both from Savannah, and the patient on board, Terry Tacoronte of Bethany. The tribute service open to the public is at the Word of Life Church in St. Joseph, that's at 3902 Riverside Road. Seating ends at 9:30 promptly with the service starting at 10. It will also include a fly over planned for around 11:15.
