Jasinski on Audit Report

The audit of Northwest Missouri State University asked the state for the Missouri State Auditors office was released to the public yesterday.

The audit reviewed fiscal years 2008, 2009 and 2010 with findings from the audit presented in a Webcast by state auditor Tom Schweich. Schweich pointed out Northwest failed to conduct competitive bids for auxiliary services contracts, questioned the universities compensation to former president Dr. Dean Hubbard of nearly $225,000 following his retirement and indicated the school needs a written contract with the Northwest foundation. Nrothwest Missouri State president Dr. John Jasinski says the university requested the audit and has already begun reviewing the findings from the report.
