CARROLLTON, MO (2011-09-05)
Three regional sportsmen have had their sporting privileges suspended by the state conservation commission.
Eric Colborn and Kaleb Duff, both of Carrollton, have been banned from hunting and fishing in the state for a year. But Jake Knapp of Craig has lost all sport privileges for the next 6 years. Knapp has plead guilty in court on multiple counts of taking or possessing wildlife illegally as well as unlawful use of a weapon. The three are among 25 Missouri residents who have lost hunting or fishing rights in Missouri for violating the state's wildlife code. The conservation commission has also revoked privileges of 300 people who aren't in compliance with Missouri's child support laws. Those violators will have their privileges reinstated once the division of child support enforcement notifies the Department of Conservation they have come back into compliance with the required laws.
