Sept. 8, 2011ST. JOSEPH, MO | By: Wayman
A unique experiment is launching in St. Joseph, one that's giving future entrepreneurs real-world experience.
The Craig School of Business at Missouri Western is opening a Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory Franchise at the Old Russell Store Candies Store on Frederick Avenue. An Aspen Leaf Yogurt Franchise will also be located there. A video connection between the store and Missouri Western will also be in place, allowing for the retail operation to be a learning tool complete with customer intersection. School officials say experience will give students cutting edge work in becoming entrepreneurs.
