Civil War Programs

A series of programs continues tonight and tomorrow night at the Rolling Hills Consolidated Library.

Tonight the curator of the St. Joseph Museums Sarah Elder will give a presentation on how the Civil War affected citizens of St. Joseph. Then tomorrow night Jeff Esely will show his collection of 3-D stereographic photos taken by Civil War photographer Matthew Brady and others of the era. ALso tomorrow night Larry Flinchpaugh will share his collection of letters from a war-weary soldier he discovered in an old trunk purchased at an estate sale. Both tonight and tomorrow night's programs are at the Belt Branch of the Rolling Hills Consolidated Library and run from 6 to 9.
