Back in Black

The New Nodaway Humane Society has teamed up with Best Friends Animal Society to offer a half price adoption promotion.

The promotion, "Back in Black", is to highlight black dogs, cats, puppies, and kittens and is running from now until Saturday. The adoption event is part of best friends animal society's goal of "No More Homeless pets", which aims to end the killing of dogs and cats in America's shelters. Cindy Nelson, NNHS director, says working with the National Network can provide help in local adoptions.

Adoption fees for qualifying animals includes vaccinations, spay or neuter, and ID microchip. To contact the New Nodaway Humane Society, you can call 660-562-3333.
