Stuff the Bus

Besides this weekend's tax free holiday, St. Joseph shoppers are being asked to help out in the annual "Stuff the Bus" school supplies drive.

Organized by the St. Joseph United Way, the event lets people donate a variety of supplies needed for children to start the school year. Last year 19,000 backpacks full of supplies were distributed. United Way president Kylee Strough says the need is still there.

The Salvation Army volunteers will help coordinate the distribution to families next week. St. Joseph's "Stuff the Bus" drive is today and tomorrow at both St. Joseph Wal-mart locations.
