The Missouri Department of Transportation plans to close 2 roads starting today.
Missouri Highway 246 in Nodaway county will be closing at the Brushy Creek Bridge near the Nodaway and Worth county line. Also Route C in Atchison county is closing, approximately three and a half miles east of Westboro over the Tarkio River. These roads are expected to be closed to traffic for 6 to 8 weeks. Both projects are part of MoDOT's safe and sound bridge improvement program. Motorists are urged to choose alternate routes.
