Relay for Life Change

The Nodaway County Relay for Life is this weekend, but with a big change.

It starts Saturday evening at 6, but event chair Lesley Schulte says the cancer walk has been forced indoors to the Maryville Community Center.

Again, the opening ceremony for the Nodaway County Relay for Life kicks off Saturday at 6 at the Community Center, with entertainment throughout the night by Bearcat Boogie Dancers, Singers, and a keynote address by cancer survivor Anna Summa at 8:45. Last year 190 cancer survivors participated in the overnight event.
