Prosecutor Forums

The Nodaway county prosecutor is holding 4 community forums tomorrow and 2 more Thursday.

Bob Rice is spreading the word about his new bad check policy. He's changed it so that merchants are no longer hit with paying the Sheriff's Departments to serve letters to bad check writers, and the guilty have 10 days to either pay up or be prosecuted. Rice says it's working great, to date they have collected more than $20,000 in bad checks since January 1st.
