Poverty Simulation

Could you survive living a month in poverty? That's what some will find out during Meril's Poverty Simulation.

The event gives participants the ability to experience first hand some of the trials and tribulations those who are below the national poverty level encounter on a daily basis. Meril's chief brand officer Deb Powers says the activities show the public how frustrating the simplest tasks can be for those living in poverty.
