Open Burning Approved

The Maryville City Council approves open burning for residents with tree debris left over from last week's storms.

The last-minute addition to last night's city council meeting keeps the burn period open today through November 6th. Maryville city manager matt LeCurf says if residents feel safe burning, it will actually save the city money from not having to accept so much during the extended hours of the city landfill.
