Move in Day

It's moving day into Maryville for more than a thousand families.

Freshmen students are moving into residence halls at Northwest Missouri State University, which also increases traffic and crowds in Maryville Restaurants and stores. Hannah Webster of Kansas City Missouri is one of the new residents and is moving in with the help of several hundred "Cat Crew" upperclassmen working to shuttle clothes, bedding, and electronics from SUV's into the residence hall rooms.

The freshmen will keep busy with advantage week activities, which include orientations, class introductions, and entertainment before classes start on Monday.
