Maryville School Levy

The Maryville School Board holds a public hearing on setting the tax levy tonight.

The plan is to reduce it slightly down to 4.3693 and the Debt service levy of .6143. That will give the Maryville schools a projected budget increase of just over $148,000. The public hearing starts at 7 tonight with the board to vote on the levy during their regular meeting starting at 7:30. That's when they are also expected to adopt the 2011-2012 budget. The public hearing and meeting is at the board of education building in Maryville.
