Maryville Property Taxes

The Maryville City Council adjusts the tax assessments for property in the city.

Assessed valuation for residential, agricultural and personal property has dropped by about 2 million dollars, with the largest decrease in personal property assessments. City manager Matt LeCurf says the impact on property owners will vary.

Officials set the new tax assessments at the lowest allowed by the state's Hancock Amendment so the net effect of money collected by the city of Maryville will remain the same.
