KCP&L Rate Changes

State regulators approve a slight rate increase for KCP&L electric customers.

It's reflecting a fuel adjustment change in fuel and power the company purchased in the 6 months between last December and this May. For KCP&L's former Aquila service area also known as the St. Joseph region, residential customers will see their bills increase by about 35 cents a month. That change takes effect September first.
