Islamic Ramadan

Member of the Islamic Center of St. Joseph are volunteering their time as part of Ramadan.

Ramadan begins with a fast from sunup to sundown for a month teaching muslims to understand how the less fortunate feel. Senior advisor on the board of directors for the Islamic Center of Greater St. Joseph Charles Mujahid Muhammad says as a muslim the Ramadan is a rejuvenator.

Muhammad adds members of the Islamic Center of St. Joseph will be volunteering at the open door food kitchen tomorrow from 11 in the morning until 1 in the afternoon.
