Heat Precautions

The forecast the next few days promises not to be as dangerously muggy as earlier this week.

But with storm damage cleanup, new students moving into colleges around the region, and school football practices precautions should be taken. Kelly Quinlin is the head athletic trainer at the University in Maryville. She recently told a gathering there are some take-away tip from the precautions used for university athletes.

Another tip is if you start to feel thirsty, you are probably already dehydrated and should get fluids like water immediately.
