The Carrollton School Board wants public input tonight before it sets the tax rate.
The Board sets rates for commercial buildings, agricultural real estate, personal property, and other factors. The money will go to the Carrollton school's general fund and for capital projects. The board is expecting an increase in revenue of about $21,000 from new construction and improvements. The public hearing on the tax rate is set for 6 tonight at the Administration BUilding in Carrollton. The board is expected to set the rate after the public hearing.
