Weekend Heat

Meteorologists say there's little chance of heat relief this weekend, although the first part of next week might show some cooling.

Spencer Mell with the National Weather Service near Kansas City says the dangerous heat and humidity could peak tomorrow.

Mell says a cold front could drop temperatures down to the upper 80's or lower 90's for Monday but then a system much like we've seen this week is expected to park over our region on Tuesday, bringing temperatures back up to the century mark for much of next week.
