St. Joseph Mustangs

America's greatest past time can't get much more American than this Sunday.

The St. Joseph Mustangs will host the US Military All-Star baseball team and the road to Ground Zero flag tour at Phil Welch Stadium. The all stars baseball team is made up of current and former service members, including active, soon to deploy soldiers as well as wounded warriors. Before Sunday's game, starting at 2 in the afternoon a variety of military vehicles will be on display courtesy of the Missouri Army National Guard. For all military service members, local law enforcement and firefighters the game will be free of charge. Also at 911 that evening the game will be paused in honor of those lost on September 11th 2001. The Groud Zero flag will be on display for the public to view and touch. All of the activities are located at Phil Welch Stadium at 2600 South-West Parkway, in St. Joseph.
