Sobriety Check

Missouri State Highway Patrol announces a sobriety checkpoint.

Commanding officer of Troop H captain Duane Robinson says sometime during the month of July Troop H will conduct a checkpoint and a driving while intoxicated saturation. The checkpoint is a static operation on one specific highway in which troopers will stop every driver to ensure they are sober. The saturation is a mobile operation where troopers saturate a highway in effort to arrest intoxicated drivers. The sobriety checkpoint will be held in Livingston county and the saturation will be conducted in Clinton county. Captain Robinson urges the public to report all impaired drivers by calling 800-525-5555 or start 55.
