Both US Senators from Missouri say their pleased with talks this week on Missouri River Management.

It was the first meeting among lawmakers from several state being impacted by flooding on the Missouri because of full reservoirs managed by the US Army Corps of Engineers. Senator Claire McCaskill says answers remain, but the focus is clear.

Senator Roy Blunt says he's not sure when the next meeting of the Missouri River working group will be scheduled, but hopes for more cooperation among the states and the Corps of Engineers.
