Authorities say arrests are imminent after an investigation of mismanagement at the Daviess DeKalb Regional Jail at Pattonsburg.
A press release from the jail says 10 felony and misdemeanor charges are being considered by the Daviess county prosecutor. This past may the jail board formed a task force after it replaced some management there in January. The task force has found items such as income tax problems, missing property, sales and tax records violations, even a violation of the cigarette and tobacco tax laws. While saying several unnamed people are being targeted in the probe and arrests are possible in the immediate future, there have not yet been any arrests.
