Kansas City Power and Light is asking permission to once again raise Northwest Missouri electric customer's rates.
This comes on top of recent approval by state regulators to raise monthly bills $11 a month this year and increases over the next two years. Now the company wants an extra $0.36 a month on top of that for customers in the St. Joseph and north service area. The Missouri Public Service commission is considering the rate hike plan, and residents can file comments on it to the Public Service Commission in Jefferson City no later than July 21st.
